When the manager of the Train to Culture asked Kornel Miglus to present films on the Berlin-Wrocław route, he replied: "A journey does not need a cinema - a journey is a place for interesting meetings and the exchange of thoughts. In the past, we shared a newspaper in the compartment, and then worries and thoughts. Today, it is unthinkable to ask for an iPad or mobile phone - and so we are left alone with each other on the journey. "Tips for travelling through life" is an opportunity for an unexpected meeting, an exchange of thoughts, a lively conversation. Platforms, tracks, sidings and marshalling yards are metaphors for human destinies. At railway stations, we pick up our loved ones or embark on a journey through life. For our "journey" you don't need a ticket, just a bit of courage to sit down opposite Kornel Miglus and talk. A single meeting will last no longer than 30 minutes. Whether we talk about what hurts, what makes us happy or worried, about health, career or life plans, about our dreams... At the end of our meeting through life we will be a little richer, calmer or wiser.

The event will be continuous - you will be able to find Kornel Miglus and ...simply talk at the given times in the Cultural Station.

Kornel Miglus - born in 1957 in Tarnowskie Góry. He studied philosophy, linguistics and psychology in Poland, the USA and Germany. He works as a lecturer, journalist, filmmaker, producer and curator. Director of the 1990 film "Am Ende des Reiches" ("At the End of the Kingdom"), which was recorded in Tarnowskie Góry. He has also been a meditation teacher for 10 years. His therapeutic practice is based on non-violent communication, transactional analysis and philosophical life practice. He is a father of two children and a member of a large patchwork family.
