Family Mornings at the Czarnohucka 10 Motor Museum

Could an ordinary bicycle have become a symbol of freedom? Over 100 years ago, for many women, it was more than just a means of transport. It offered greater freedom, independence and the chance to go their own way.

On the second morning of the summer holidays, we’ll learn about the stories of female cyclists of the past and explore how cycling influenced fashion, everyday life and social change at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. We’ll tour the first section of the Bicycle Exhibition, and in the Education Zone, participants will design jewellery and cycling accessories.
