Iwona Golor-Baszun has been developing her artistic activity within the Portrait Company for 10 years. In this cross-sectional exhibition, we can accompany the artist on this painting journey - a journey through themes, techniques, projects, artistic experiences and explorations. Wherever her intuition and uncompromising - her own and free - approach to art has taken her, we will always find her exquisite painting skills and her unique way of seeing faces. The likenesses we see often surprise and even confuse us - so far removed from the sedate and polished image to which we are accustomed. However, the artist is not looking for superficial prettiness; rather, she is trying to get through to the person - to show their personality and uniqueness. Is this possible in a painting?
