This year, the great festival of museums is celebrated on Saturday 16 May. We invite you to the headquarters of the Museum in Tarnowskie Góry, the Station of Culture and the Church of the Saviour. Planned events include workshops and a guided tour of the exhibition "The Underground World of Tarnowskie Góry. The map from which much began', a tour of a railway model and a lecture and organ recital. Admission to all events is free.

16:00-23:59 - Museum open to visitors (exhibitions: "Renaissance Hall", "From the History of Tarnowskie Góry", "Hail Jan III Sobieski", "The Underground World of Tarnowskie Góry. The map from which much began")

16:00-20:00 - A stand with publications and museum souvenirs (in front of the Museum building)

20:00-21:00 - Reading of excerpts from the book "Tales of the Aggregate. What happened five hundred years ago in the Tarnów Mountains" with Marian Makula and Mikołaj Wilga ("Niklaus Pieron"), moderated by Dr. Piotr Śmieja

22:00-23:00 - Night curator tour of the exhibition "The Underground World of Tarnowskie Góry. The map from which much began", guided by: Rafał Ludwikowski

16:00-20:00 - Culture Station open to visitors (railway mock-up - trains running every half hour and exhibition "Railway on a poster - from the collection of Konrad Rogowski")

17:00-18:00 - Family art workshop "A colourful locomotive"

Church of the Saviour in Tarnowskie Góry (Rynek 12)

16:00-21:00 - Church open to the public (visiting limited during the events)

17:00-18:00 - "Commandments" - lecture by Revd Sebastian Mendroek as part of the "Conversations around the Bible" series

19:00-20:00 - "500 years of the city written in music" - organ recital performed by Patrick Pferifer
