On the occasion of the special anniversary of our city and the Library, we invite you to participate in an extraordinary event - the creation and burial of a time capsule.

It will be a symbolic moment of stopping the present. Together, we want to record who we are today - our stories, emotions, everyday life and dreams - so that they can be discovered by future generations.

When. 11 May 2026
When? 6pm
Where? in the Library garden

Importantly - the capsule will not be opened until 20 years from now, during the Library's 100th anniversary! It is then that we will see how much the world... and we ourselves have changed.

We encourage you to bring photos, letters, souvenirs, memories and reflections, small objects which are meaningful to you.
During the event, we will decide together what will go into the capsule and then ceremoniously bury it.

May someone find a piece of our 'today' 20 years from now.
