On the first weekend of October, the ‘Seniors’ Culture Weekend’ will take place across Poland – an initiative launched by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, whose primary aim is to combat social exclusion by encouraging older people to participate regularly in cultural life in the broadest sense. This is a special initiative which, for many years, has enabled older people from across the country to take part in a wide range of worthwhile events.

To mark the occasion, throughout the weekend (on Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm) we invite all senior citizens to take a free tour of the Culture Centre in Tarnowskie Góry and explore the ‘Tarnowskie Góry Railway Model’ as well as the temporary exhibition ‘TG500/Ag. Tarnowskie Góry Motifs in Artistic Prints’.

We also invite you to a free tour of the Museum in Tarnowskie Góry (Rynek 1, on Saturday from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm and on Sunday from 12.00 pm to 5.00 pm).
