Residents of Tarnowskie Góry are not eligible to receive a heating voucher. The price of district heating in our town is lower than the threshold set by the government in the Act, which entitles households to receive support.

The heating voucher was introduced by the Act of 12 September 2025. It is a one-off financial support payment for households that meet all of the following criteria:

1. they use district heating (i.e. supplied by a district heating network or a heating company),
2. pay more than 170 zł/GJ net for heating (a household is only eligible for the voucher if the price of district heating exceeds this amount),
3. have an income of:

• no more than 3,272.69 zł net per month for a single-person household,
• or no more than 2,454.52 zł net per month per person in a multi-person household.

The price of district heating in Tarnowskie Góry

In our town, the net district heating price is less than 170 zł/GJ. Consequently, residents of Tarnowskie Góry are not eligible to receive a heating voucher.

They cannot receive the benefit, even if they meet the other criteria.
