On 31 October at 6.00 pm, the 3rd Halloween Run will set off from the Market Square in Tarnowskie Góry. This is a free sporting event involving a group night-time run through the city streets covering a distance of approximately 10 kilometres (two 5-kilometre loops).

The main idea behind the event is to take part in themed fancy dress. In previous editions, runners on the route have included those dressed as characters from the Pac-Man game, mummies and witches. This year, too, the organisers are emphasising participants’ creativity by holding a competition for the best and scariest costume.

Prizes in the form of vouchers sponsored by local eateries await the creators of the most outstanding costumes: Kunszt Restaurant, BrickKrakowska18 Cafe Restaurant & Wine Bar, NaOkołoo, Tesoro Pizza&Pasta Restaurant and Café Silesia – Gryfny Kafyj.

The gathering in the Market Square includes a pre-start briefing, hot tea for participants and time to take souvenir photos. Participation in the event is completely free and requires no prior registration or entry fee.
