400 children, 16 kindergartens and 8 track stations to overcome - all this thanks to the 7th Edition of the Tarnogórska Olimpiada Przedszkolaka!

The facility of the Sports Hall and the Klif Climbing Centre at the Water Park was conquered by representations from as many as 16 establishments: P1, P2, P4, P5, P6, P8, P9, P11, P12, P13, P17, P18, P20, P22, P24 and P26.

- There are no losers at this event. A medal awaits every little athlete! After all, at this age the most important things are desire, a smile and a love of movement," recalled Deputy Mayor Jolanta Tuszyńska.

But sporting rivalry is not everything! During the event, we also tested the knowledge of our little participants. Children eagerly answered questions about which sports clubs operate in Tarnowskie Góry, what disciplines they can train in and where in the neighbourhood they can swim. The preschoolers had to demonstrate their knowledge of where it is safe to skateboard, play tennis, table tennis, squash, badminton, paddleball or beach volleyball. They were also faced with questions about what a 'Lesno Rajza' is, what sports can be played in the sports hall itself and what is trained at clubs such as Tess, MK Studio or Dance A Lot. There was also the search for answers on where in the city to play in the playground, take a walk, eat the best ice cream and sit by the fountain.

We can safely say that the youngest preschoolers know Tarnowskie Góry better than many Tarnogórz inhabitants!
