Yesterday, in addition to the anniversary of the 3rd May Constitution, the 105th anniversary of the outbreak of the Third Silesian Uprising was celebrated throughout the region. As they do every year, representatives of the City Hall and the Mayor of Tarnowskie Góry laid flowers and lit candles at monuments commemorating Tarnowskie Góry insurgents and Polish activists on this occasion:.

Flowers and candles were left on the graves of:

Teofil Królik in the cemetery at St. Anne's Church,
at the insurgent cross in Gliwicka Street and the boulder in Witosa Street,
in the cemetery in Strzybnica - at the grave of Józef Brailich,
at the monument in the Hutnik Park in Strzybnica,
in the forest by the road to Pniowiec, where in 1939 scouts and uprising activists were murdered
and at the boulder commemorating the events in Upper Silesia in 1919-1922, i.e. the Silesian Uprisings, the plebiscite and the division of the region between Germany and Poland.
