The ninth edition of the ‘Teatralne Parkowanie’ series, much loved by the people of Tarnowskie Góry, kicks off on 3 July. As every year, the unconventional world of theatre leaves the confines of the theatre to get closer to the audience and settle comfortably in the City Park. We invite you to a series of open-air encounters with the arts, which will accompany us throughout the summer holidays.

The Góry Kultury Association has put together an exceptionally varied programme for this season. On the park stage, we’ll see performances by theatres from all over Poland, aimed at audiences of all ages. The Warsaw Pantomime Centre Theatre will demonstrate just how much traditional art based on movement and gestures has to offer the contemporary audience. The Sztukmistrze Foundation will introduce audiences to the challenging art of juggling, combining it with existential reflection, whilst the Muzikanty Theatre will present an original project blending music, theatre and new technologies. There will also be plenty on offer for the youngest residents – the Gry i Ludzie Theatre will transport us to the fairy-tale world of the Brothers Grimm, the Fuzja Theatre will take children into the sound-filled world of animals, and special outdoor theatre workshops will provide an additional attraction.

• 29 August, 9.00 pm – Fuzja Theatre: ‘Aqua Sapiens’

• 30 August, 11.00 am – Fuzja Theatre “Zwierzyniec”

The event is fully accessible to people with special needs. To ensure appropriate preparations and to discuss the details, the organisers ask that you contact them directly at least 10 days before your chosen performance. The project is funded by the Tarnowskie Góry Local Authority as part of a competition in the field of culture, the arts, the protection of cultural assets and national heritage, organised by the Department of Culture, Tourism and City Promotion of Tarnowskie Góry, as well as from the budgets of the Silesian Voivodeship and the Tarnowskie Góry County.
