On Thursday 30 July, between 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm, you will be able to visit the newly built municipal nursery. We invite parents not only from Tarnowskie Góry, as we are now extending enrolment to residents of neighbouring municipalities as well.
The open house will be an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the newly built facility. It will open its doors to the little ones on 3 August! Enrolment for the new municipal nursery on Andersa Street has been open since 13 July. At present, more than a dozen children have already been enrolled. Inside, the 1,000-square-metre facility features six rooms for children, each with separate toilets, as well as support facilities, a kitchen and staff rooms. In addition, each room has its own terrace, and the nursery – surrounded by greenery – also has a car park and a playground.
Enrolment for the nursery, which will ultimately accommodate up to a hundred children, is now also open to children from outside the Tarnowskie Góry municipality. You can find the enrolment documents here and in the attachments at the bottom of the page
Paper copies of the documents should be submitted to the nursery at 40 Andersa Street. The nursery is open from Monday to Friday, 8.00–16.00.
Worth nearly 9 million zlotys, this municipal investment was made possible thanks to support from the ‘Aktywny Maluch 2022–2029’ programme as part of the National Plan for Recovery and Resilience (KPO).

We would like to remind you that there are currently 157 places available for children across the three branches of the municipal nursery in Strzybnica, Śródmieście – Centrum and Stare Tarnowice – the only one of its kind in the district. Enrolment for additional places is ongoing!
