The Mayor of Tarnowskie Góry, the Tarnowskie Góry County Governor and the Commander of the 5th Chemical Regiment in Tarnowskie Góry invite you to the Independence Day celebrations.

10 November 2026 (Tuesday)

• 5.30 pm, Market Square: A ceremonial parade and march to the War Cemetery on Kard. Stefana Wyszyńskiego Street.

• 6.00 pm, War Cemetery (Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński Street): Roll call of the fallen, speeches by the Mayor and the Tarnowskie Góry County Governor and the laying of flowers at the memorials.

11 November 2026 (Wednesday)

• 10.30 am, Church of St Peter and St Paul the Apostles (Gliwicka Street): Holy Mass for the Homeland, speeches by the Mayor, the Tarnogórski County Governor and invited guests, laying of flowers at the memorial plaques, a procession with the band to Tarnowskie Góry’s Market Square and the singing of the national anthem (around 12.00).

5.00 pm, Rybna Palace (90 Powstańców Warszawskich Street):

• Ceremony to present the ‘Silver Wing’ award and honourable mentions.

• Concert.

• 10 November, from 7.00 pm, OPERA Hotel and Restaurant (1 Zamkowa Street): The Góry Kultury Association invites you to a dance party to celebrate Independence Day in the style of the 1920s and 1930s. An evening full of music, dancing and pride in being Polish awaits us!
