Free mammograms in the Market Square in October
In collaboration with the M. Skłodowska-Curie National Institute of Oncology – State Research Institute in Gliwice, we invite women born between 1952 and 1981 to attend a free digital MAMMOGRAM. Dates: 27–30 October.
Dates:
27 and 28 October 2026, 10.00–17.00
29 and 30 October 2026, 8.30 am–3.30 pm
Please bring with you: your identity card and images from your previous mammogram (if it was carried out outside NIO Gliwice).
We guarantee the following at our centre:
• the examination will be carried out using a NEW digital mammography machine,
• interpretation of the images by doctors from the National Institute of Oncology in Gliwice,
• delivery of your mammogram results, in accordance with your preference as stated in the e-Deliveries system (ADE) or by email,
• where necessary, professional care and any further essential investigations at the National Institute of Oncology in Gliwice.

* Mammograms are funded by the National Health Fund (NFZ) as part of the Breast Cancer Prevention Programme. Insured women aged between 45 and 74 are entitled to a free screening every two years.
