From 1 to 15 October 2026, a compulsory rat extermination programme will take place in the Tarnowskie Góry Municipality.

At the same time, we would like to remind you that, in accordance with the order of the Mayor of Tarnowskie Góry:
1. The compulsory rat control programme applies to all developed properties within the Tarnowskie Góry Municipality, including:
a) multi-unit residential buildings, including blocks of flats,
b) public, industrial and warehouse buildings, as well as properties that are partly inhabited and partly uninhabited.
2. Property owners, including co-owners, perpetual usufructuaries, organisational units and persons who manage or use the property, as well as other entities in possession of the properties listed in point 1, must carry out rodent control on their premises at their own expense. They may do this themselves or commission a specialist company. They must also allow for the inspection of the method and effectiveness of the rodent control.
3. The Municipal Police will monitor and supervise the rodent control measures. Upon their request, you must produce proof of purchase of rodenticides or a contract for rodent control, together with a list of the premises and facilities covered by the measures.
